What are Rapid Small-Scale Column Tests?
RSSCTs are used to predict the removal of PFAS and other micropollutants by GAC, ion exchange (IX) resins, and other sorbents. Water is passed through a column of ground sorbents. The smaller the size of the ground sorbents, the faster breakthrough of PFAS and other contaminants will be observed.
Why RSSCTs?
Select between sorbents (GAC vs. IX), as well as between different vendor products
Technology & Material Selection
Breadth of Testing
Test more materials & EBCTs than feasible at pilot scale
Cost Savings
